Another Day ...Another Big Game...

Today's a public holiday here - and co-incides with Bafana Bafana's big game tonight v Uruguay - the nation will come to a standstill...we'll probably watch at a fan site.

Yesterday watched the Kiwis game at the local fansite then the Portugal v Ivory Coast game - all the time while Pamela met up with some old friends at the same place.

Its getting very cold here - minus 3 degrees last night - and freezing this morning.

We're spending the day with Pamela's old nanny and her family - should be more than a few stories there...

Over to Joe...

Hi everyone. Im typing about a word every 20 seconds because my hands completely frozen. Spent yesterday at a shopping centre while mum caught up with some friends she went to school with. Watched the kiwis escape with a draw v Slovakia and watched Ronaldo rolling around against Ivory Coast. Even my great aunt Ethel was complaining about his diving. Hope its been a bit warmer for you guys. Going to spend the day with mums old nanny today. Should be fun. Will be wathcing Bafana with interest tonight.

See you all in a couple of weeks
Joe.

  1. soz about Bafana Bafana. The vuvuzelas sounded a little muted. Am taking bets for Greece to be second in Group B by end of play Thursday. South Korea to beat Argentina?? After Switzerland today, it MIGHT happen!
Enjoy seeing Lionel in the flesh.
Oh, Gas news...David Pipe sentenced to 3 years for fracturing that guy's skull with a bottle, and fixture list out tomorrow....you can plan UK visit after this!
Your pic of American geographical error has gone down a storm here and has been widely circulated.
